Acadiana Fiddles and Strings
Welcome to the Acadiana Fiddles and Strings Home Page. This is the performing group of the studio. Started in 2008, Acadiana Fiddles and Strings had their first public performance at Festival International in 2009. The ensemble is an eclectic mix of students, fiddle and violin, including adults, that play a combination of fiddle tunes and classical music, sometimes in medleys, with a little bit of trick fiddling thrown in for viewer enjoyment. This past year, they were featured in the 2010 Festival International program booklet, and on the local news station during their show. We will have videos and pictures uploaded soon for your entertainment.

We'll be appearing at two Festivals this year.
Children's Festival, March 20th, at Lake Fausse Point.
Festival Internationale, Saturday, April 30th 1:45 - 2:30 PM.
